For jewelry, only 5-10 ml (1-2 tsp) of breastmilk is needed. It is enough to make multiple pieces + have some leftover which will be stored with your order number in case you want to order again in the future. For other keepsakes, such as the bears, keychains, and ornaments, I will need at least 10ml for those alone.

For cremains, only about 1 teaspoon is needed for multiple pieces. For other keepsake items such as the bears, keychains, or ornaments, please send roughly 3 teaspoons. Any leftover cremains will ALWAYS be returned to you with your finished product.

For breastmilk: Place your breastmilk sample in a breastmilk bag and tape it shut. Then, place that bag in a small ziplock bag for extra protection. Do not send the milk sample in a milk storage plastic bottle. Place the whole bag in a bubble mailer and ship it to the address provided in your order confirmation email! Breastmilk does NOT need to stay cold during transit, it goes through a double preservation process to remove any bacteria and is turned into a fine powder.

For cremains: Same process as breastmilk, just double bag the sample, tape it shut, and mail it in a bubble mailer.

Most of these pieces are made in sterling silver, including white gold/yellow gold/rose gold plating. Over time, plated jewelry may naturally fade or tarnish depending on wear habits, exposure to moisture, body chemistry, and contact with products like lotions or perfumes. This is a normal characteristic of plated jewelry and not considered a defect.

To extend the life of your piece, I recommend removing jewelry before showering, swimming, or applying products, If tarnishing occurs, it can often be restored with a polishing cloth (included in your order), or professional re-plating.

All jewelry items are sealed with a water-resistant and UV-resistant resin. Solid gold items will not tarnish.

No milk is off limits unless it is moldy. So, if you have milk leftover from a bottle or milk that’s been sitting in your freezer for 5 years, send it to me and let’s make the magic happen!

Keepsakes will be completed in the order that they come. Typical turnaround times are between 4-6 weeks from the time I receive your inclusion in the mail, so be sure to send it out within two weeks from ordering! Solid golds may take longer as they are custom made. Be sure to go to the “check order status” page here to get weekly updates on your keepsake!

Absolutely! You can choose to mix them together or if the jewelry piece allows, keep them separate if you want. Just specify in the notes how you'd like it!

In the description of each product, you will see a link for add-ons. You can choose to add colored shimmer, mica powder, umbilical cord, hair, flowers, pregnancy test cap, clothing, ultrasound photo, etc. Assume your milk stone will be a cream color and ash will be dark grey, unless you choose to add color options!

Due to the highly customized and sentimental nature of these keepsakes, all sales are final. Refunds are not available, including for ring size changes.

Care instructions are provided with each piece to help ensure your keepsake remains in beautiful condition. While I understand that accidents can happen, repairs or replacements may be offered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me if you need assistance.

If inclusions have not been received within one month of your order date, a one-time reminder will be sent via email. If no response is received, the order will be cancelled due to inactivity. Because work time and materials are reserved upon purchase, cancelled orders are not eligible for a refund.
